Uzun \u00f6m\u00fcrleri sayesinde ge\u00e7mi\u015fi gelece\u011fe<br>ba\u011flayan, \u00e7e\u015fitli mitolojik hik\u00e2yelerde ve destanlarda bulunan; \u015fan, \u015feref<br>ve g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fcl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn sembol\u00fc olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclen do\u011fadaki bir\u00e7ok zenginliklerden<br>biridir.<br>Bir a\u011faca an\u0131t a\u011fa\u00e7 denilebilmesi i\u00e7in sahip olmas\u0131 gereken<br>\u00f6l\u00e7\u00fctlerden en ba\u015fta geleni g\u00f6vde ve tepe \u00e7ap\u0131 boyudur. Bu a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131n<br>kendi t\u00fcrlerinin ortalama boy \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcleri ile aras\u0131nda b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde fark<br>vard\u0131r. Fakat bir a\u011fac\u0131n sadece fiziksel \u00f6zellikleri an\u0131t a\u011fa\u00e7 olmas\u0131 i\u00e7in<br>yeterli de\u011fildir, ya\u015f\u0131n\u0131n en az bir as\u0131r olmas\u0131 gerekmektedir. Bu \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fct ile<br>s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131lan a\u011fa\u00e7lara da Boyutsal An\u0131t A\u011fac\u0131 denir ve tespit edilirken a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131n fiziksel \u00f6zelliklerine g\u00f6re puanlama yap\u0131l\u0131r. Ba\u015fka bir \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fct ise a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131n bulunduklar\u0131 yerlerdeki tarih\u00ee bir olaya tan\u0131kl\u0131k etmi\u015f olmalar\u0131 ve o olay ile ba\u011fda\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmalar\u0131d\u0131r. Bu \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcte g\u00f6re tarih\u00ee, folklorik ve mistik an\u0131t a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131 olmak \u00fczere \u00fc\u00e7e ayr\u0131l\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca bu \u00f6zelliklere sahip olduklar\u0131 i\u00e7in ilk bahsedilen \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fctteki fiziksel y\u00f6nlere illaki sahip olmalar\u0131 gerekmez.<br>An\u0131t a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131n tespit, tescil ve ilan edilip koruma alt\u0131na al\u0131nmas\u0131 Tabiat Varl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 Koruma Genel M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn g\u00f6revidir. Tabiat Varl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 Koruma Komisyonlar\u0131n\u0131n verdi\u011fi tescil kararlar\u0131 \u00c7evre, \u015eehircilik ve \u0130klim De\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131na g\u00f6nderilir ve Bakan taraf\u0131ndan onaylan\u0131r.<br>T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de bulunan an\u0131t a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131n say\u0131s\u0131 en g\u00fcncel hali ile 9369\u2019dur. Bu a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131n aras\u0131nda en ya\u015fl\u0131s\u0131 Zonguldak, Alapl\u0131 il\u00e7esinde bulunur. T\u00fcr\u00fc porsuk olan bu g\u00f6rkemli a\u011fac\u0131n ya\u015f\u0131 4112 olarak tespit edilmi\u015ftir. Anadolu\u2019daki bilinen en ya\u015fl\u0131 a\u011fa\u00e7 olmakla kalmay\u0131p d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en ya\u015fl\u0131 be\u015f a\u011fac\u0131 aras\u0131nda da yer almaktad\u0131r.<br>\u00d6zel \u015fehrimiz Sinop\u2019ta bulunan an\u0131t a\u011fa\u00e7lara gelecek olursak, Erfelek-Sal\u0131 k\u00f6y\u00fcn\u00fcn S\u00f6k\u00fc Mahallesinde bulunan Padi\u015fah Kestanesi 2008 y\u0131l\u0131nda an\u0131t a\u011fa\u00e7 olarak kabul edilmi\u015ftir. Kestane a\u011fac\u0131n\u0131n tahmini ya\u015f\u0131n\u0131n 600 oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir ve hala meyve vermektedir. Bunun haricinde T\u00fcrkeli il\u00e7esi Ak\u00e7ab\u00fck K\u00f6y\u00fc\u2019nde yer alan ve y\u00f6re halk\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan \u201cKoca Me\u015fe\u201d olarak bilinen a\u011fa\u00e7, an\u0131t a\u011fa\u00e7 olarak tescillidir. A\u011fac\u0131n 7,7 metre \u00e7ap\u0131nda ve bin ya\u015f\u0131nda oldu\u011fu tespit edilmi\u015ftir. Ayanc\u0131k il\u00e7esi s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131nda ve \u0130nalt\u0131 Ma\u011faras\u0131 yak\u0131nlar\u0131nda Karl\u0131k Yaylas\u0131 vard\u0131r.
